Conclusion

Well, I'm writing this as we're about to pack for the NEXT cruise, but our closing comments on this were that it was fine (and enjoyed Jon and Charlie's company), but we wouldn't do a cruise again - it's just too small and Avalon, while not terrible, was not overwhelmingly good. After looking at some of the Viking Cruise Lines River boats, if that's something you're interested in, I'd recommend you look at them.
